hey guys,,did they fix the compatiablty with rebuilder and kas antivirus,,i know there was a problem awhile back,,cheers

I'm not sure. But I put some "workaround" code in DVD-RB to make it less likely to happen. I haven't gotten any reports in a while.

ok,,it works with kaspersky,,,but kas slows your PC down to the point were it almost stops,,example, the marine,,in 6 hours,mind you i use procoder,it was at only 36%..it should have finished long ago,,went back to AVG,and done in 480mins,,just thought i pass this along,,cheers,,,EH:D

I would recommend always turning off virus scanning (any kind) when you're encoding. AV software can make even a good system run like a dog -- and can very easily double your encoding times.

One option is to add your working folder into the exclusion list. No need to turn the resident AV scanner on and off, the worst that could happen is that you forget to turn it back on ;)

It will still run slower... but I guess it depends how paranoid a person might be about viruses.
