View Full Version : Seeking streams with problematic audio delays

From time to time I get reports of the delay value reported by DGIndex being off by a significant amount. I now have a new theory about the reason for it and how to fix it. The problem is that I can't find any such streams in my test streams collection. So I am seeking such streams so that I may test my new theory and implement a fix if it is correct. If you have such streams please contact me or post a link to them. Thank you.

i was going to post a screenshot of what i thought was wrong with it .. but just never got around to it.

Basically I think your audio sync value is correct. However the problem is the frames don't match.

I.e frame 100 on the vob equals about 105 with dgindex, hence the frame sync issues. I loaded up a d2v I made with dvd2avi and dgindex and the original vob in virtual dub. And dvd2avi the videos were sync, but dgindex was off by 3 or 5 frames. (I used a scene change to check this).

If you still have that 24 vob i sent you. Try it with that, you will see what i mean.

Sorry, can't remember the stream you mention. If you could provide it again, that would be helpful.
