Recording ATSC TS

My capture card came with a crappy proprietary program that downscales all HD to 720x480 for playback and recording. VLC and DScaler only let me tune to analog channels and I can't find a way to tell it to use digital channels. Any ideas?

Sounds like you're talking about Hauppauge's WinTV2K software...but without any further information (like, for instance, what device your actually using) its pretty difficult for anyone to provide you any advice.

I can think of two small stand-alone applications, which support HD. GBPVR and WatchHDTV.

See if either supports your card.

GBPVR is quite good and has an active site. Hopefully, the hardware is supported...
