Hello,
I created a video slide show of some from our holiday pictures. The video has the size of 1GB. The VideoDVD was created by using DVD-Lab.

Afterwards I put the whole pictures (about 3GB) in a seperate folder e.g. "Pics" in Root of the DVD. So far so good. The pictures should be on the disc because the participants of the journey should be able to get photo prints from the pictures or edit them the way they like.
The photos can now be viewed on a pc but not in a stand-alone DVD-player, because the DVD-player recognizes the DVD as a Video-DVD and opens the main menu, though most of them have a build-in picture-browser. But so far it is traceable for me.

Is it possible to create a menu entry that switches the DVD from Video-Mode to Data-Mode, so I can browse the files and folders and view the pictures on a DVD-player?
If yes, how can this be done? Or are there any good guidelines or how-to-do medias (internet pages, books, video-instructions) that explain stuff like this?

Thanks in advance
Mario

PS: I understand, that once it is switched to Data-Mode I can only switch back to Video-Mode be ejecting and reinserting the DVD.

No it isn't possible. You could always make a slide show of your photos. You could then view them within the DVD video environment.

It's a pity.

Thanks for your answer.
