Looking for a very simple dvd shrink workalike for Mac OS X. [Archive]

The title says it all. The key is simplicity - ideally something that does everything including DeCSS on its own, and doesn't require any other programs. My house mate has a G4 and wants to backup his DVDs instead of having me do it for him ;)

I have used MacTheRipper + DVD2OneX, but it had problems with some stuff like CSI episodes, haven't tried the usual 'main movie only' backup.

Suggestions? I know ffmpegX can supposedly do this, but it's not too intuitive.

You might want to take a look at DVDRemaster (http://www.metakine.com/products/dvdremaster/) in combination with FairMount (http://www.metakine.com/products/fairmount/). Some folks over at RipDifferent (http://www.ripdifferent.com/phpbb2/index.php) seem to like it.

I personally have never ripped, burnt or encoded anything on OS/X, so take this with a grain of salt (or two...)
