I have a "little" problem.
I've searched the forum to find out how to crop the TS stream containing h264 video, without changing it in any other way, but I didn't find that out.
I would like clean up TS file of black bands.
Is there any tool/method that can do that?
I am sorry if this has already been diskussed.

You can't do it without decoding and reencoding.

well cropping without reencoding is possibly in a sense, by modifying the cropping flags in the avc headers, so every decoder automatically outputs a cropped picture

Thank you for answers.
I was thinking that changing those would do the job too, but I didn't find out how to proceed  .
Does changing those flags stil makes that processor must decode black bands in film (if not, that would save "some" processing power???)?

Does changing those flags stil makes that processor must decode black bands in film (if not, that would save "some" processing power???)?the decoder would still need to decode the black borders
