As I know, p2p and BT just are type of techics to let us transfering files. Buy bad ISP starting to throttling p2p/BT in my country. And their concern is to prevent illegal or porn downloading.

But i saw that is not fair to users because we just make use of the p2p/BT methodology to do file exchange for our own multimedia project from far destination.

My country ISP was done the p2p/BT throttling through a hardware so that can significantly reduce the bandwitdh usage, so that they no need to upgarde their service and as well as can offer to new subcribers.

I still see not thing solution for p2p/BT throttling cases. It is will be the doom's day for BT :scared:

This has what to do with PC hardware/software?

ISPs have been throttling for years, some even in the dial-up era, and they're extremely adverse to specifying hard limits. Obviously killing p2p is their whole point. You have to vote with your dollars if you can, move out or live with it if you can't - there's no point in rehashing useless discussions about it.

My country more ven worst, the ISP totally monopoly the broadband service. If there are at least 2 ISP, then at least have choices.

For BitTorrent, try Azureus, it has a number of options to help avoid this.
