Capture Hardware Decisions?

I need a capture card with comp/s-video outputs.
I would like a half hight card, but not big deal.
Having a firewire imput would be cool to, but obviously not a big deal.
What are people having best luck with.
Also, are there any with component outputs?
I am hoping to replace my crappy dvd player with a small puter that has a optical output soundcard to my dolby decoder preamp. So I want a high quality card.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Radeon 8500DV maybe your only route with firewire, also I think it has some optical output unsure which, besides the remote.

OK, wow, I am impressed, its features just kick ass man.\
But ATI, I am worried, I work with cad/cae cards and am used to a very expensive csard, even at home. I always "thought" ATI was crap.
Anyone have any experience with it?
Is it good? I honestly dont know, but I have high standards, just cuz I am used to expensive cards.
Thanks for the info pal!

This card does it all and a bag of chips! A friend of mine got a complete PC overhaul before X-mas and got lots of new hardware for his system. One of them being the ATI 8500DV, its great for games but it really shines with analog/digital capturing and video out features. The potential power of this beast endless. We plugged it into his Toshiba and the quality of the output is unmatched. I havent seen the firewire capturing personally - but he said there werent any problems with his DV cam. If I had the cash (which im slowly saving) I would definatly consider this card, Ive witness nothing but positive results from it. Hope this helps.
