I do most of my animated content backups at 640x480 and sometimes at 512x384. Since my monitor is set at 1024x768, they look slightly softened, which I assume might be due to the scaling used by the graphics card (bilinear I guess?). Upon checking ffdshow's resize Settings in the "video decoder" tab I narrowed it down to Bicubic or Spline since the sharper methods will likely result in haloing and/or pixellation. Which of these two would you choose?
