I am working on getting one of my movies into avi/xvid format so I can play it on my Zen Vision W mp3 player. I am experiencing some major sync issues (like 2 seconds off) and noticed that DVDRB uses VBR mp3 encoding. I have never had any good experiences with VBR mp3 encoding and was wondering if there was a way to make it CBR? like a hidden setting or something? Or if you could maybe add that in the next version?

What version of DVD-RB are you using? There was a fix that went in for v1.20.5 that relates to how audio is stored in VOB (sometimes the cells aren't stored in the same order that they are played) -- that's the only way I can imagine having a 2 second offset in audio.

I had the same sync problems when using the Mobile encode feature. The problem turned out to be DGDecode.dll.
Are you using the one that came with DVD-RB or are you using a different one?
In my case, going back to the one supplied with DVD-RB fixed the sync problem.
cheers
