This is a nice freeware that can convert files like ogm, mkv, among other media files into avi. I tried doing it with ogm that was like 200 mb and it quickly turned into a decent avi file. The best part is, it allows subs to go along with it. So if you got a file that has like an external ssa or srt file sub you can integrate it into the avi file as hardsub. Problem is, I believe that the avi can only support one sub and one audio so if you got a dual audio it won't convert through. This is one of the few programs (unlike winavi) that can convert OGM into AVI without killing the audio. What's more is that the creator does their best to fufill the preferences of people who contact her. That way they can modify their program to be better.
