Hi I Know this is a little off topic or the wrong area but does anyone know of a Divx player that supports XviD's 3 point GMC???? I know there are ones that support Qpel - in fact I have One.

Apparently according to the Mpeg-4 Player comparison site the LG DVX172 Does - but I cannot be sure because it's only available in Hungary or Europe????

My Original player is an LG - the LG LDA 531 - so I wouldn't be changing brands - I just want to know if this capability in a player is now a reality - or still way off in the future???

Or more to the point is Global Motion Compensation even necessary????

This does pertain to this section by the way - because with all these deinterlacing and Avisynth encoding questionsI want to be able to play my XviD videos on only the best - because I believe this Mpeg-4 thing is here to stay. At least for the next little while...

Any thoughts folks????:p :script:

Not yet David....

The Zoran Vaddis 882 chip-set (within LGDVX172 player) is able to provide (reasonable) support for NeroDigital's 3-warp-point GMC implementation (as generated by Recode2) but not Xvid's 3-warp-point GMC implementation... No players that I know of can do this yet!
