I'm sitting at 3.1 right now after trying to upgrade....and failing miserably.

1. I uninstalled 3.1 in the 'add/remove programs' control panel.
2. restart
3. install 3.1.5
4. restart

and then my xp just goes into a reboot loop telling me 'windows did not start successfully'.

i've been emailing back and forth with sonic tech, and they keep telling me that no one is experiencing any problems.

anyone?

I have no real advice since the upgrade works fine here. But have you tried with a fresh install of Windows?

Don't worry, there are others who are experiencing problems when upgrading. If you do get your machine back up uninstall it as there are other bugs it has introduced. I'm still using v2.7 as I still think it's the most stable out there, and v3.x doesn't really offer that much really!

Yeah, we've been at 2.7 for over 3 years. But v 3.1 has enable/disable all UOPs, and cut and paste pre/cell/post commands. For me, definitely worth it to move up to 3.1

I just noticed on sonic's support page that they pulled down the download link for 3.1.5 ...

Interesting.

Are you using the upgrade for liscense version or are you trying to upgrade the "Unofficial" 3.1? The liscensed 3.1 works just fine if you're going from 3.1 to 3.1.5. Me nor my co-worker had problems with the upgrade.

It's a pitty you can't define the UOPs as sets as I never want all UOPs enabled/disabled. As for copy and paste pre/cell/post commands, You've been able to do this for years. Just copy the Titles/PGCs/Cells into notepad, search & replace then paste back into Scenarist! ;) Some people have even written apps to do all this for them!

3.1.5 switches the subpicture values for Red, with the values for Blue in simulation window....
