View Full Version : Odd Issue With Scenarist

Have a Trailer menu with 3 trailers and a Play All button. I created 4 titles and 4 PGCs: 3 for each individual trailer and 1 title for the Play All.
I'd like to disable some UOPs at the cell level for the individual trailer but notice those same UOPs are disabled on the Play All title at the cell level as well. Could someone explain why? These are in different PGCs some I don't quite get why this is happening.

UOPs can be placed on three levels
Title, PGC and VOBU
UOPs placed on title level are valid for all PGCs in this title (defined in IFO)
UOPs placed on PGC level are valid for this PGC only (defined in IFO)
UOPs placed on VOBU level are valid for the VOBU (defined in VOB navigation pack)
Place UOPs at VOBU level is what you do in scenarist. So these PUOs affect all cells (track) independently in which PGC they are contained

Thanks for the reply.
This is what I'm doing. I'm disabling the UOPs at the VOBU level in each PGC(Individual Trailer). But it's affecting the UOPs in an entirely different PGC (Play ALL).
I'm dragging 1 track into the Individual PGC and dragging all tracks into the Play All PGC - each as its own PG - maybe its the fact I'm using the same assets for both or maybe I'm misunderstanding.
Thanks

A track placed in a VTS (Scenario editor) results in a unique VobID in the final VOB for this track. Track is muxed once, even you use the track in different PGC of this VTS (different PGCs refers to same VOB_ID).
UOPs at VOBU level are defined in the mux itself, so they are valid for this VOB_ID/Cell_ID, it does not matter which PGC points to it.
