View Full Version : Registry key location on Win9x for nVidia's VMRCCCSStatus value?

Does anyone know what's the correct registry location of the VMRCCCSStatus value for nVidia drivers on Win9x?

As I understand, setting this value to 1 (DWORD) can make the drivers output full PC color range (0-255) when using VMR9 for video playback, instead of the limited TV scale used since the 6x.xx drivers.

I believe the location on Win9x *should* be:

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Display\0000\NVIDIA\DirectDraw\VMRCCCSStatus

And actually, setting it to *3* should be the correct value to force 0-255 YUV range.

Still, it doesn't work for me. Has anyone got it to work at all? And on Win9x specifically?
