Problems with YouTube scrubber

Is it possible to fast-forward in a YouTube video to a position in the video that hasn't been downloaded yet?

In Google Video, scrubbing past the currently downloaded part works: the app somehow "resets" the start position to the scrubber position and resumes downloading from that point.

Possible in YouTube?

This is something that would probably have to be answered by their tech support/development team. If it doesn't work, it probably hasn't been written yet, so it'd be good to give them the heads up.
