I want to know if there is an easy to use program for converting ogm to avi so that I can burn it to dvd.

I would like to know if there is a program that can convert the files without removing the dual audio feature. As in the language audio integrated within the media. Is winavi a good program to do so that will also not limit the quality of the media? It would be great if the program can convert without enlarging the size of the file.

I would also like to know of a program that can also burn the subtitle file .ssa into the media when i burn it onto a dvd. Thank you.

sorry, didn't mean whats best i just wanted a program that didn't harbor any hassle

Please read and follow the forum rules, specifically, rule 9: use a proper thread title, and rule 12: do not ask what's best.

I don't know the answers to your questions but I'm sure someone will be along shortly who does.

Thank you.

I apologize, it came out the wrong way, when i say what's best i usually mean what is easy to use without too much work done, like for divx converter. you click and it does it all for you. I looked aroudn and there are all these encodign stuff it confuses me. Especially when i find other simple programs.

AVI2DVD is easy to use, but it installs a bunch of codecs, including some instable ones, that can severely degrade the performances of DirectX. Pity.
I prefer the VirtualDub or AviSynth frameserving method, with a good encoder and muxman. But that's not fully automatic.

Oops, sorry, I did not pay attention to that. Not sure if AVI2DVD or VirtualDub can open ogm files, but AviSynth should be able to load them (with DirectShowSource) if the ogm file can be opened in windows media player.

ok, then which nero is able to burn dvds. as in make avi into dvd into dvd that can go for hrs.

I want to use the feature, but then it doesn't display the time amount that can be placed in the dvd. In EP the dvd r can do 6 hrs worth of recording. I got some 20 minute videos so calculating it should be able to burn around 18 of these videos. And the size is 200mb. However, I only get to burn 4 videos...how come?

Sorry, I don't use Nero. But I suppose that it doesn't allow encoding at a very low quality. Usually, on a good single-layer DVD, you cannot put more than 2 or 2.5 hours. The standalone recorders are an exception to this rule, but quality is not their main concern.
