Supernatural Season 2 (http://ten.com.au/supernatural) is debuting on the internet for Australian users.
Ten is using Entriq's MedaShphere (http://www.entriq.com/) solution to enable Aussies to download episodes encoded in WMV with DRM
(3 days to play the file, file cannot be burnt or syncronised, licence cannot be backed up).
The season premiere is available 5 days before it's broadcast on FTA, while the rest of the season will be made available the night each episode airs.
Quality of the files is quite reasonable (1.29mbps/16:9) , although the audio is in stereo.
There are adverts for channel Ten leading up to the show, but there is no advertising through the show.
