Hi.
Using RipIt4Me and DvdShrink/DvdDecripter, I was able to make a copy of a disk I own. It plays fine on my Dell XPS400.
It doesn't play on my home DVD player (Sony). I get a "can not read" error msg. I have heard that there is a website that list all known DVD players and what disk type (DVD-R/+RW etc) that will play on them is out there, but can't find it.
In short, I need to know how to determine what type of format a dvd player can read. Thanks to all for any help in this matter.

Hi!

To determine the capabilities/limitations of your specific brand and model of standalone DVD player, as well as media compatibility, go to:

Hi,

You can try the stickies in the hardware players section: http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?f=73
specially the Player Buyers Guide;

Or you can search (here or google) with your players reference or give it here;

Or you can try to burn with Imgburn2 instead of DvdDecrypter or Shrink (with Nero?) ...
