Hi! I hope that somone will be able to help me out? I've looked around the place but haven't found anything like this...
So, I've been burning my fansubs to DVD and playing them back easily on my TV for several months now but my #1 problem is that the sides of the episodes are always cut out when they are played back on the TV.
I've figured out that if you burn them in widescreen and change your TV/DVD player to 16:9 ratio (I have a WS TV) that the subs don't get cut out top or bottom ^_^
The only problem with this method though is that it makes the characters look fat and the sides are still being cut.
I tend to use one of two methods to burn my DVDs...
1: I convert the .avi files to .VOB files using "Winavi Video converter" and burn them using "Nero 6" I am able to fit 6 episodes per disk at good quality.
or 2: I use my video editing studio (Ulead) to create the DVD and burn it. The only problem with this is that it takes FOREVER to burn the 6 episodes to disk (3+ hours)
Heres the strange thing though, if I use Nero, more of the sides are cut then if I use Ulead but they are still badly cut.
So with all this being said, What I am asking is if anyone here could please help me out in trying to Burn my episodes to disk without them having to be in WS or having the sides cut out?
Also, if someone could tell me how to burn more than 6 episodes to disk I will be greatful?
Thanks
