I trying to make a HD DVD all have worked for me the video i was encoded in AVC and the audio is the original from DVD i dont have changed nothing, but the subpictures Scenarist 4.1 accept without problems but the problem i have is this my AVC video file start from 00:00:00:00 and the original start from 01:00:26:29 the first subpicture displayed timecode, when i import it says
- Error Cannot add data outside of the video duration.
I know that is because the timecode of the original video
butt there's a program that open Scenarist script subtitle SST
and can i correct the timecode??
For rest is perfect menus etc the only problem its the subpictures

When you encode in H264 you don't have access at TC header
with your H264 encoder.

The best solution is to "rip" the subtitle from your DVD on change
the TC by increase or decrease it (subrip can do it).

There is on Scenarist HD a command to jump in "HDi", "Advanced Content", format...
You can do a HD DVD with two different options (SCA and ACA) in same disc.
Don't forget the flag in premastering for Advanced Content files...

Thanks friends i have found a way to add timecode to H.264 in Mainconcept Encoder in the options Timestamp Offset but you need to calculate the number of frames like if your MPEG-2 Non drop frame start from 00:59:58:00 then the number of frames = 107940, then i add this number to Timestamp Offset in Mainconcept Encoder and the H.264 encoded file start from 00:59:58:00 like the original MPEG-2 :)
I use to calculate the program WFT Timecode Calculator this works :)
