VobBlanker 2.1.1.0 has worked great under Wine on Ubuntu Edgy 6.10. The newer Ver. 2.1.2.0 Crashes every time at around 99% complete.

With all the crap I have heard about Windows Vista. I have been working on getting all my DVD programs running on Linux. I have only been running Ubuntu for about 8 months now, and never owned a computer until I built my first machine 2 years ago.

By no means am I Linux expert, that is why I have come here looking for help and the expertise of much brighter people.

Here are some screen shots of VobBlanker in action on the same DVD File, an episodic disc I was trying to split.

Here are the other programs I have running under Wine that work well and have been tested extensiely

DVD Decrypter
Ripit4Me
DVD Shrink
ImgBurn
VobBlanker
PgcEdit

DVD Rebuilder and CCE will work but require the use of Winetools to configure Wine which breaks VobBlanker and PgcEdit!

Mmmm Seems to me thuis is not related with Linux, but a bug in VobBlanker. I've changed all TMAPTI code in this new version, and it is chrasing in this point

Could you please send me the original IFOs?. Also, the VobBlanker project file will also help.

The problem with version 2.1.2.0 seems to be title specific. I have been able to blank some non episodic discs with no problems. I am working on sending the IFO's for the problematic disc and will continue testing others. Just been a little busy at work and also trying to get DVD Rebuilder going on Linux as well a number of other projects.
