Is this a valid question? If so, does anyone know what the proper GOP structure for DVD is? I am trying to encode with CCE and found that MyDVD was giving me problems until I started 'shortening' the GOP. I want to make sure I'm using the right GOP structure before I start committing this stuff to DVD-R. So far DVD-RW gives a pretty good looking result.
I found a GOP description on Sonic's forum for TMPGenc, but it doesn't translate easily into the conventions that CCE uses (TMPG uses I frames, P frames and B frames), CCE uses something much different (M and M/N or something like that).
So if anyone can give the right GOP for making DVD I would appreciate it.
