Hi, using PGCEdit I have successfully gotten an episodic dvd (Lost, S2, D1 in this case) to jump to the episode menu upon insertion of the disc. Everything works great, and if I am playing an episode and select Root Menu I get the episode menu, as desired.

However, if I hit Title Menu I get the original main menu (with choices of special features, episodes, set up, etc.), which has no purpose at this point. I've even deleted the other menus that it links to. So, what I want is to have the the choice of Title Menu simply go to the same as Root Menu (the episode list). In other words, I want there to effectively be only one menu on the dvd. I assume there's a simple post command or something that I can add to the main menu PGC which will force it to go to the Root Menu. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can kill playback on the menu that the title menu takes you to. Select the apprpriate button when PgcEdit asks you (obviously the one corresponding to the episode menu)

Thanks, very simple. There was something about the term "kill playback" which had me not wanting to investigate it.

Another option:
Create a new dummy PGC in the VMGM, and assign it the Title Menu (with Set Menu Type.) Change the NOP command in the new Title Menu to jump to the Root menu of your main VTS (with a JumpSS-VTSM.)
This way, you will call the root menu when you press the Title menu button.

Thanks again. PGCEdit has to be the coolest tool I've ever come across (in combination with VobBlanker, of course!).
