Hello,
This question is sort of an offshoot of another I have posted here recently. Hopefully someone can help me out.
I have a 720x480 NTSC screencap of a movie. I would like to put this movie onto DVD.
Now, knowing the following, what would I do to get this film as close to a 23.976 frame rate with progressive frames?
1) The cap was made using a video camera's pass-thru, so it is interlaced DV avi.
2) The subject matter is film with the following pull up 323232 (3 progressive frames followed by 2 interlaced frames)
So do I de-interlace then IVTC this or do I leave out one of these steps?
Also, if anyone has any scripts handy they could share, it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark
