Recurring Error Message -- Please Help!

Occasionally when I go to copy a DVD using DVD Shrink, during the Analysis phase, it will stop abruptly and prompt with the message:
" DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read "D:/" Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)."

...and I cannot go any further with the burning project/process.

What, exactly, does this mean, and can it be rectified? If so, how? Thank you.

Are you ripping the disk to your harddrive first?
If not, I recommend Ripit4me. Then everything should work fine.

A cyclic redundancy check is usually indicative of a problem reading the disk. If you get the same error with RipIt4Me, you probably need to clean or replace the DVD-ROM. Some of the advanced copy protection schemes will cause that error in DVD Shrink, but will be defeated by RipIt4Me or DVDFab Decrypter.
