Hi, I would like to convert to SVI (Samsung video "codec") without their program. To do so I need to reproduce their container:

I took a valid svi file and checked it out with vdub. The video is xvid and the audio is mp3, I ran it through vdub (direct stream copy), and the samsung player rejected it. I opened the two with the hex editor and the headers of the samsung-encoded file was different.

So, anyone have any thoughts on how I can reproduce their container?

here is information about structure of SVI file

Generally, it is AVI with LIST INFO ISFT chunk

Some programmer can make a patcher for AVI

BTW, SVI is used in Samsung YP-T9 MP3 (and video) player
