Hey everyone,

I've recently downloaded (legally) a TV series with 10 half hour episodes. I used Nero 6 to burn them onto a DVD-R. I've done this before with no audio problems. This time, I got huge amounts of this really loud static/hissing noise when I play the DVD back. It only happens in certain episodes, not the whole way through. I tried re-doing it, and the same thing happened, only this time worse. The first time it was only 3 episodes I couldn't watch. The second time, it's practically the whole disc. I really don't want to pay a second time to download them again, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be extremely grateful. :)

I guess you first need to establish whether the source files have the problem or not. If not then burn with something other than Nero (e.g. ImgBurn).

Thanks ZacOz.

I tried ImgBurn but to no avail. I think the only way I'm going to get around this problem is to burn the files as data files and watch them thru the comp. Oh well, can't win 'em all!
