I don't know if it's because I swithced to xp64, or something else is not correct in my vfw configuration, but avisynth produces images with crazy colors like this (it's an image saved by VDub). During motion it has even more artifacts!
I tried both the latest stable and 2.5.7 RC2 32-bit builds!

The issue is most probably a buggy XviD decoder ( which also handles YV12 decoding in virtual dub ). The bug appears when the resolution is mod4 horizontally ( in your case 412 / 4 = 103, so it's mod4 ).
To solve it, try to find a more recent XviD build. I can't advise you to a particular build, I don't have win64.

Thank you Manao!
After trying over 10 xvid builds, I found out that none of them could handle the stream, and finally what worked was to download the latest ffdshow and set ffdshow vfw decoder to enable support for all raw video.

You could also try to open your avi as YUY2 or RGB:
AviSource("xvid.avi", pixel_type="YUY2")
