Hi,

I want to change 25 fps sup file to 29.97 fps sup.

Is there any software capable of doing that without converting first to text etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hi-

The Sub Cutter utility that comes in the VobSub package can do that for IDX/SUB files. So, either convert your SUP file to IDX/SUB using the new Subtitle Creator, or get the IDX/SUB directly from the DVD using Subtitle Creator or VobSub Configure. Convert the framerate, and then convert the IDX/SUB back to SUP using Subtitle Creator or SubToSup.

And I'd be very sure that you're doing it right before converting 25->29.97fps, as the vast majority of the PAL2NTSC conversions require only 25->23.976fps. If you're converting both the audio and video to 29.97fps, you'll get unnaturally fast movement and chirpy, high-pitched voices. If your PAL source is interlaced (the only possible reason you'd want to go directly to 29.97fps), there are still much better ways to make the conversion besides speeding everything up that much.
