Megui update site down?

Is the Megui auto update site down or is it just me?

I get the same error, so maybe it is.

Error: Couldn't connect to server. Try again later.
Error: Could not download XML file

MeGUI generates a lot of traffic on the update server and it easily hit the monthly traffic quota.
So there's no quick fix until someone offers us an unlimited traffic service for the megui auto-update.

I downloaded the latest version of MeGui 2.3.2193 since I was having problems with the last version. The error that others are now getting. I couldn't run the auto update so I had to redownload MeGui. However now it doesn't see any of the profiles even though they are in the profiles/video folder. As well when I download the profiles and from within MeGui select Import Profiles, I can select the zip file but when it opens it up, MeGui doesn't show any profiles available to import. I double checked the zip file and I can see that it does contain profiles. Not sure how to get MeGui working again. Help!

That's coz the new profiles are not compatible with the older version of MeGUI.

I think they offer unlimited bandwidth, but not really sure.

The monthly usage is capped at 500gb/month at the moment. There is plenty of room above that, so we'll see how it goes after a few days.

Yes. That one works for me (everything updates a treat)

Every time I update it crashes and then when I try to restart megui it says that the shortcut is missing. Whats up with that?

I also had this problem, but fixed it by completely deleting my manual MeGUI install, and downloading the megui-install.exe package from http://x264.nl/ then updating from this. The update then completed successfully.
