I have a SLV-R1000 from sony it has a button to turn off SVHS why would I ever want to do that? do I have to do this if I'm going to insert a regular vhs tape? but the VCR remove the electronic svhs sign from the lid if I do so is very much automatic... then why would I do this manually? in case I don't want to record onto SVHS format onto a SVHS tape? why not? :scared:
