you will have to be a lot more accurate than that, i cant even find a valid reference to 'DVB-C technotrend 1200' in a search engine never mind find the driver info its using.
are you sure thats its full title ?, do you have at the very least a direct link to the shop and product you have there?.
the closest this it might be is this 'Technotrend Connect USB C1200 (Win98/ME/2K/XP)' and that as far as i can be bothered to hund it down for you. http://www.dvbshop.net/product_info.php/info/p23_Technotrend-Connect-USB-C1200--Win98-ME-2K-XP-.html
the thing you want to know is what driver does it come with, you really want a 'BDA' driver with it,as then you can use several 3rd party apps.
i like the java http://www.jtvlan.org/ for the (VLC)multicast network streaming in combination with http://www.digtv.no-ip.com/webscheduler/ as the capture engine for instance, but you need a BDA driver for your card to use these.
what happens if you boot a current linux livecd with some DVB tv apps on there, does lsusb show the card as working etc.
does one of the DVB tv apps see it and use it in its options.....
you need to do a lot more work and give some more valid info
if your looking to see were you can take this.
heres a list of TT cards and not one is a DVB-C (i.e a CABLE DVB tuner)with just a '1200' as its name

'Technotrend Connect USB C1200 (Win98/ME/2K/XP)' thats the one I have and I bought it from the same shop dvbshop.net and I got the driver from this website http://www.technotrend.de/english/download/download.html (TT-PCline USB family)
funny thing is the cd it came with doesnt seem to have the driver I tried to install it from cd and nothing was found but when I downloaded the driver from there website the device is working I can watch FTA channels BBCs but the problem the program it came with does have stream capturing I can only watch and many third party software doesnt support this device may I need different driver but I dont where to get it.
