Whatever happened to corevorbis?

Apparantly all the official pages are down and the ones that are left over have no mention of it anymore, it is as if it never existed. The only place to get it now is from pages like www.free-codecs.com

bah, corecodec always seems to be down :).

Although I don't know what is up with corevorbis. Why not just use FFDshow?
