This is certainly very strange. They claim to have superior quality, and encoding speed of 5 times that of a software solution...

Does this seem like a load of BS to anyone else? What do they have, a supercomputer in that dongle?

Do take into consideration that hardware solutions are much more efficient :) Also, the avc profile/level used for ipod isn't as intensive as a High Profile DVD backup ^^

5x real-time does sound much though, I would have expected 1x or 2x realtime personally, but who knows ... :)
