Hi,
I am feeling pretty desperate. Today I installed my new server with Debian Sarge (Kernel 2.6.19).
I installed ffmpeg from latest cvs source code ( ./configure --enable-gpl --enable-pp --enable-mp3lame --enable-faad --enable-faac --enable-xvid --disable-debug --enable-memalign-hack --extra-ldflags=-pthread --enable-shared --disable-encoder=zmbv --enable-pthreads) and everything works fine with ffmpeg. The codecs are also installed.
My big problem is transcode (www.transcoding.org). At first I cleared all dependencies. I installed it with: ./configure --enable-libavcodec --enable-libmpeg2 --enable-avifile
This the error:
ffmpeg/avcodec.h can be found in the following packages: FFmpeg http://www.ffmpeg.org
I hope someone here can help.
Thanks for your help,
Tom
