Everybody says Gknot DivX 4

is it the best or the easiest way?
i know professional DVDrips are made with sbc + 3.11 Codec... isnt this the best way to do a rip.. the quality is impressive..
so i would like to heare some opinions whats the best way to get quality.. no not 4cd's ;)

i just use gknot with divx3.11, i like the quality that gets. i used to do sbc eith 3.11 ...i cant really notice that much of a difference between them...but my gknots are better since im a bit more experienced now.

i havent use div4 yet...im always wanting to...but im lazy and have just stuck to 3.11

I use DivX 4 and to me it's so simple and comes out flawless everytime that I've used it. I just started doing this from SVCD and it's most impressive. I've heard there really isn't much difference in quality it's just faster?? so I've heard (read)

Divx3.11 done right with Nandub is probably the best quality you can get. Divx4 looks almost as good and looks better at high resolutions (if you go above 640 horizontal, Div4 is definetely the way to go). Use whatever is easiest for you. Nandub is much more rewarding because you get the feeling you're actually doing something instead of just pressing a button and having it done for you. :-)
