I am trying to encode the follwing AC3 file using MeGUI CT AAC-HE-Multichannel-128kbps audio profile.
VTS_01_1 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY 62437ms
When I include the delay into the AAC encoding the final output if terribly out of sync. When I try to handle the delay in the mux I get an error. Any ideas how to handle this delay?

Hi!
Is your source DVD a recent SONY, SONY-related (ColumbiaTristar), or Disney/Buena Vista release? If so, what software and procedures did you use to rip it?

The movie is "See No Evil" and it was ripped using RipIt4Me Version 1.6.0.0.

According to the following post at another forum, this Lion's Gate release contains SONY's "ARccOS" copy protection.

According to the posts of other members at the Doom9 forum, the proper way to rip such a DVD and avoid synch problems, for conversion purposes such as yours (as opposed to making a backup DVD copy) is to use the "RipIt4Me" package, including using "FixVTS", in "Movie only" mode.

I re-ripped my copy of "See No Evil" using RipIt4Me Version 1.6.0.0 in "Movie only" mode and the delay results are the same. I was however able to extract the audio (82ms delay) from my backup copy that was created with DVD Rebuilder.
