ripping 2 disc dvds

How do I go about ripping a DVD that is spread over 2 discs? Do I just rip each DVD normally and combine the .avi files using a separate program?

Since you're obviously completely new to this, use AutoGK. As far as synch issues, there's no way to tell until you try, but it's easily corrected with VirtualDubMod.
