1) Load your DVD

2) Set DVD Decrypter to "IFO" mode

3) DVD Decrypter should automatically highlight/select the main

movie under the "Input" tab

4) Click on the "Stream Processing" tab and check "Enable

stream processing"

5) UNcheck all of the videostreams and audiostreams OTHER

THAN THE ONE YOU WISH TO EXTRACT.

6)HIGHLIGHT the stream you wish to extract

7) Click on "Demux"

8) Click on the "Destination" icon and select the drive/folder

location to save the audiostream to

9) Click on the "Decrypt" icon

Note - For an LPCM stereo audiostream, you may have to go

to:

Tools>>Settings>>IFO Mode and increase the VOB size from

1Gb to 2Gb, in order to be sure to generate only one .VOB for

the entire audiostream

that was a lot to take in but you made it happen thanks..My pleasure ;>}

By the way, typically with music DVDs each song is a separate chapter. So, if you follow the above instructions and select individual chapters, you should be home free...

Use MP3 DirectCut to chop the big MP3 apart. No re-encoding, and if you set it up right properly tagged and titled clips.

This thread answered the question I was about to ask precisely.

Thanks!

*edit*

Let me ask my own question in this thread: I have successfully extracted the audio information from my concert DVD. I'm trying to convert directly from the AC3 track to ALAC/MP4 (Apple Lossless) format for my iPod and iTunes. However, I can't find any tools for converting to this audio format. Is there a generally-accepted tool for this sort of conversion work?
