Scenarist error when writing DLT layer 1

hi,

i allways get an error (Nr. 1104) when writing the second layer of a dual layer dvd to dlt from scenarist. layer 0 works without any problem but for the second layer the compare fails. when writing layer 1 only it's just beginns to write on the dlt but after a view seconds it's finish writing and starts do compare. has anyone have some idea??

I'm not an expert by any means, but when writing to a DLT, due to the sensitive nature of the process you shouldn't be doing anything else on the PC. Just let it run.

Secondly, it could be a number of issues. One of them could be the media type. What type of DLT Tapes are you using?
It could be the DLT Drive itself.
Also, does this always happen with the same project? Have you tried writing a different dual layer project using the same Drive/Tape combo?

I use DLT 4 tapes, and have allready used different dual layer projects und also an other dlt drive. but allways the same error occures. the problem started, when i have installed scenarist to a new computer - maybe i have to adjust some of my pc settings?
