I am trying to process HD Desire recorded OTC using myhd card. The output audio file is about 7 seconds longer then the video file bu has a delay of -376 only. When I put them together without any cutting using virtualdubmod, I get static for the first 90 seconds, and then audio starts, but there is no synch. It is so far off that I can not even find how much or in which direction the error is. For everything else, dgindex and vdubmod work perfectly.
Thanks

im gonna take a wild guess at this, but does your HD stream have ac3 audio - if so i have heard that VDM has issues with some ac3, and i would suggest trying something else to join it

Yes, it does have ac3 audio. For other channels, the processing goes flawlessly. I think that the problem is somewhere in the ABC broadcast, and I was wondering if there was a way around it.

Found the error. It is in my source video file. I am re-doing without the first section to see if the problem is fixed.
