Has anyone tried DGIndex on the transport stream output of an HDV camcorder, like the Sony HC3 or Canon HV10? If not might it work?

I have some hdv material from Sony Z1. It's working great in dgindex, no problems at all.

Great! What do you use to capture it?

Yeah I have used a Canon XL-H1. The M2T streams were copied directly off a FireStore FS-4, and DGIndex is perfectly happy with them. I've also heard good things about hdvsplit - a windows app that talks directly to HDV cameras through ieee-1394 'firewire' and copies the transport streams off the mini-dv tape.
Uncompressed HD over HD-SDI is really the way to go though! :)
