Ok people.

Searched for SFD and Softdec, no luck. So...

Does anyone know any good/new conversor for this type of video ?

It's mostly on games, right now I got it on a PC game, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, there's on folder (movies) full of them.

cine01.sfd
e010.sfd

ok... so.. I try to open on VirtualDub, it crashed, out of memory. Tried on VirtualdDubMod, worked, played, no sound.

Tried one program called sfd2mpg (old, 2003), doesn't work good, the video is all wrong, but there's sound.

Tried converting with TMPGenc, worked, no sound, and the video is a mess (like sfd2mpg).

Tried Rad Video Tools to convert, no luck.

If anyone want to take a look at the files, I uploaded one to rapidshare (e300.sfd):

http://rapidshare.com/files/4072328/e300.zip.html

We can play the file on Media Player Classic, but no sound, and the video is a mess.

The video info on GSpot (v2.60 b5):

On google, no info too, found this old thread (another forum):
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/lofiversion/index.php/t477289.html
(sorry, dunno if I can post another forum links)

With some info about it.. but.. no luck on converting.

Found this page too, some info on the format. not technical:

That's it. So guys, any information about it ?

Well, thank you very much :)

I have found the same type of files in Tycoon City, but they're quite well playing, converting etc. In game X-Men made by Raven software (such as Marvel) the videos are real junk. I tried to use HEX Editor and found some small "improvements", indicate that junk videos contain Sofdec version 2 instead of playable version 1.
I think nobody knows how to handle this...
