Some of my burned data DVDs cannot be read by one of my PCs, but can by two other of my PCs (one of which burnt the disc in the first place).

My DVD-R media isn't that poor quality I think (it's one of the Maxell manufacturing codes)

I burnt with CD Burner XP Pro, validation on.

How can this be ? All my DVD drives are different manufacturers.

I appreciate that the reason might be one of a bunch of potential things, but to start out with...is this a common problem, and what have others done to try to resolve this issue ? If there is another place to look for info on this (e.g. another forum) then please point me in the right direction.

Many thanks for whatever info is out there.
