View Full Version : add extra subs

Hello,

The situation:
- Original DVD decrypted (using DVD decrypter, File mode)
- Re-encoded it using DVD-RB, resulting in new vts_01_xx.vob's

But for some strange reason my subs are never included.
So, is there an (easy) way to 'rip' the subs from the original and add them to the new DVD? Could someone point me to the right guide(s)?

I'm quite new to the world of adding subtitles, so the search didn't help me that much...

Any help would be kindly appreciated...

Check your DVD-RB settings. You might have all subs checked to ignore. What version are you using?

I don't know the exact version number (it's on my other PC), but it's DVD-RB free. I'm sure I haven't ignored my subs, as I rebuilt it twice. There are similar threads on RB's forums.

However, I'd prefer to add the subs by hand, if possible...
(as I don't want to re-rebuild it again)...

You can use pgcdemux to demux your subtitles (SUP format)
And use SubtitleCreator DVD authoring wizard to add them back
