Hello

I use the newest Nero Version on WinXP and all relevant updates incl. driver updates.

I encode DVDs
to Nero Digital AVC Cinema
1,4GB
2 Pass
Extra Quality

Some videos could only be played on VLC but not on Nero Showtime. Some other videos are OK. Where is the error?
Is this a nero Bug?

Sounds weird. Is there some error message from Showtime or what happens? Can you upload a video to a ftp-server if I give login details?

It happens for me to. I found that the cause for this problem is probably subtitles. If I select to include two subtitle tracks in Nero Recode, Showtime 3 does not play the file. VLC plays. If I select just one track,it's ok in Showtime. Not sure if this is Showtime or Recode bug.

Checked now. Showtime 3 plays back fine file with two subtitle tracks which was encoded with older version o Recode(Nero 7.0.x or something). But then, the subtitles do not show on VLC.

New Nero 7.5.9.0 is out, maybe it fixes the bug. It would be interesting to know if the .mp4 files are corrupt or it was simply a little Showtime problem.

Nero 7.5.9.0 still can'T play it
seems so that it has something to do that I encoded the videos with Cinema option and not with default.
