I'm trying to back-up some TV Show DVDs I have.
Basically all of the content is in VTS_02, which is split into 9 PGCs.
PGC 1 is basically the View All for all 3 episodes on the disk, which I guess means that it contains some pre-commands to cycle through the next 3 PGCs, but when ripping it reads as being 2:43:26 long and rips all three eps to one vts file.
PGC 2 is episode 1.
PGC 3 is episode 2.
PGC 4 is episode 3.
PGC 5-9 is, I believe, deleted scenes associated with the three episodes.
What I would like to do is reencode PGCs 2, 3, and 4 and place them back into the structure and still have the View All option operate as it should. Rencoding just the 3 episodes will allow me to fit everything on 4.37GB disc.
I use Scenarist and I'm familiar with with authoring multi-pgc titles when I'm reencoding all of the PGCs and then just reauthoring the whole VTS, but I don't know how to do it with just a few PGCs and avoid destroying the original structure and functioning of the VTS.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks,
