Hi there,

I have a 3.5GB *.mpg file, which is a dvd compliant MPEG2, it was exportet with Adobe Premiere Pro and now I want to transcode it to a lightweight H.264.

Which software (WindowsXP) should I use to convert this huge file in an easy way?

Thanks in advance

AutoMKV (v0.51) would probably be the easiest way

Just select the input and output, quality profile, resize settings, filesize and audio settings, and click start. No messing around with DGIndex and avisynth scripts etc, it does all that for you. Be aware it's still beta, but it hardly ever fails on me!
