Dear Friends,

We are doing profssional DVD Authoring using Spruce hardware and software. We get Digibetas in Pal but we have to convert them to Ntsc for export. The Hi-8 tapes are also in Pal format. Now my Video becomes 25 to 29 and so i have to convert my audio too.I do all this work in ProTools.
After matching the sound with video i play back my ProTools and capture in my encoder in real time.So ProTools 5.1 Wav files becomes 5.1 AC3.But it takes real time.3hrs movie takes 3 hrs to dumpback. I need somthing which can convert the files and i can straight import the ac3 in my spruce and save the dumpback time.
I am looking for a pro S/W which convert my 5.1 Wav to 5.1 AC3 which will be used in Maestro. Please suggest me some Sotwares which can do this job.I am using Mac for Protools so i need Mac S/W.It also should show Dolby logo in amplifier after replicating.

I have heard of Softcode but i havent tried it.someone said that we cant increse the levels above 0db.Please suggest me more Softwares of Pro level.

Thanks.

Zerohash.
